Landlocked Hungary is bordered by seven countries: Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria. It is no coincidence, perhaps, that Hungary has suffered through many invasions and unwanted occupations over the years. That's a lot of neighbors to keep track of!
